BLUE PLANET AQUARIUM SHOP

Pio e Tito toso - Studio di Architettura e design a Treviso

2024

Copenhagen

Conceived as a threshold between worlds, the shop acts as a subtle filter between the exterior and the immersive universe of Blue Planet, gently guiding visitors into an underwater dimension.
The space unfolds like a stylized seabed, where display islands emerge as layered topographies, shaped by gradients of blue that suggest depth and immersion. Curvilinear paths trace soft, continuous movements, echoing the fluid dynamics of the marine environment and inviting a slow, exploratory journey.
Along the perimeter, a system of shelves integrates seamlessly into the architecture, reinforcing the narrative while maintaining clarity in product display. Above, a suspended installation of translucent, 3D-printed fish introduces a light and ethereal presence—abstract forms that drift through the space, evoking the essence of the ocean without replicating it. The result is a balanced composition of function and atmosphere, where the retail space becomes part of a larger spatial storytelling, anticipating the experience of the aquarium.
